Tiny Art Show Guidelines:
● Artwork must be no larger than 12X12 inches! (Including frames)
● All art materials are acceptable except for perishable items.
● All Artistic Abilities Welcome!
● Subject matter and title must be appropriate for all ages. (The venue reserves the right to deny any questionable work.)
● Artwork MUST be prepared to hang, with a hanging apparatus on the back of the artwork. (Wire is best for our hanging system, which includes a steel cable with a hanging hook. Due to the design of the hook, it is crucial to have a hanging wire installed on your artwork. The wire should be securely fastened, installed in the frame’s top third or quarter, and relatively taught. Claw-tooth hangers and other hardware
may not hang properly. Unframed canvas stretchers are acceptable, but the edges of the canvas must be painted, and hanging hardware must be installed. All paper artwork must be framed. We cannot prepare your work for hanging, but we will advise you if you bring your work and hanging tools on the drop-off day.)
● Artwork must be two-dimensional or sculptural relief. The gallery space available is only wall space; we cannot accommodate floor or pedestal sculpture due to the size of the venue. We welcome sculpture that can be hung, however we have a track hanging system that precludes nailing or screwing into the wall, so please consider this when entering sculptural artwork.
● Visibility for our artists is important to us! However, as a young venue, we are not equipped to sell artwork during the show. We will provide contact info for each artist on a posted show list. Artists may include websites and email addresses to sell their work privately to interested parties.
● We welcome artist business cards and show flyers. We will display contact info and small promotional materials for artists in the show!
