Smoke & Mojo brings a gypsy soul blues sound with a deep blend of Southern swamp grit and a touch of New Orleans groove thrown in for good measure.
Featuring Dano the Mano “Dragon Heart” on bass, Owlbeat “the sexiest creature in the universe” on saxophone, and the alien menace/wilderness mystic Troy Youngblood on guitar and vocals, the band delivers a raw, atmospheric, and high-energy set that moves between swampy blues, soulful improvisation, and strange, beautiful soundscapes.
