Mark was recently inducted into the Maine Blues Hall of Fame, recognizing more than four decades of outstanding contributions to blues music. Born in Houlton and raised in East Millinocket, Maine, Mark has played guitar since he was six years old. For more than 45 years, he has made his living as a guitarist. He began playing music with his brothers on the family porch before joining a Top 40 band in high school. Throughout his career, Mark has worked with numerous prominent artists as a sought-after session and touring guitarist, contributed to countless recordings, and ultimately returned home to Maine, where he continues to be a cornerstone of the state’s vibrant music scene.
