Lucas Jackson, award-winning filmmaker share his short film “Self-Reflecting” + Q&A

Come see a young award-winning filmmaker Lucas J.J. share his film and join the discussion. Saturday, April 19th, 2025, from 3-5 PM at Boreal Theater. Admission is $10.00 to support the Arts or a donation of your means.

Biography:

Lucas J. J. is a writer and filmmaker who recently moved from Oklahoma to Maine. His first short film, Self-Reflecting, has been selected into seven film festivals so far, winning first place in the category Narrative Short Film at Ozark Media Arts Festival and a nomination at the Teen Indie Awards at All American High School Film Festival.

He made that film at the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute, Oklahoma’s Official School of the Arts. Out of 900 applicants, only around 200 were selected.
