Live music (Bob Oakes – solo guitar performance) + Karaoke Night at the Boreal Theater (Downtown Millinocket, Maine) on Saturday December 2, 2023 from 6 to 9 pm. This event will take place during the Millinocket Marathon weekend.

Bob Oakes:

Bob Oakes is a solo artist drawing on Delta blues influences like Son House, Memphis Minnie, and Bukka White, Hill Country blues influences like Mississippi Fred McDowell and Junior Kimborough and mixing this all together with modern influences from hard rock and progressive music. He plays a mix of these older blues songs, unique takes on more modern songs, and original material using percussive finger style and slide on both his National resonator and electric guitar.

Including a special appearance by Nashville singer-songwriter Jenn Schott!
