Viola and Piano Program with Gabriel Remillard and Mark Scally at the Boreal Theater on Sunday, October 29th, from 2-4 pm.
Biographies:
Gabriel Remillard (Viola) attended the Hartt School in Connecticut for his undergraduate and graduate degrees. Gabriel has performed with some of New England and Italy’s best ensembles. Gabriel has also appeared on NPR and PBS with the likes of Matthew Morrison from “Glee” and Idina Menzel from “Wicked”. Gabriel is an avid chamber musician and soloist obtaining numerous awards and honors for his work on and off the stage. Living in Millinocket Gabriel teaches traditional and Suzuki lessons in person and online. More information at www.gabrielremillard.comwww.gabrielremillard.com
Mark Scally (Acoustic piano) has been involved with public school music education since 1977. He continues to accompany performing groups in the Katahdin region. He has also been a drama director and performing arts adjudicator for a variety of local and state festivals. He also serves as the organist for St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and 1st Congregational Church both of Millinocket. Mark has slso been active in local politics having served on the selectboard and school board of East Millinocket.
